Zone Alarm This is a great firewall..and it is FREE!! It can be a little tedious in that it constantly asks your permission to allow/deny programs access to/from the internet. This can allow you to see traffic that is passing through your internet connection thus, thwarting potential attacks. There are other programs that are less tedious to teach but, you are relying on the fact that they are programmed correctly. I prefer teaching that way I know what is going on without assuming. Going GEEK: This is a VERY good program for tracking program access and sewing up your ports but, it will take some time teaching it. After the first day or two the questions will start to slowly dwidle. |
